Inland Truck Parts-High Desert 100          July 28-29, 2012                Powell, WY

307 Bar and Grill-Wild West 100               Sept. 22-23, 2012              Columbus, MT

Welcome to the 2012 WILD WEST series of racing. We will start the year off with the Yellowstone Polaris -BIG SKY 250 on a great piece of ranch property south of Broadview. The BIG SKY 250 will be held on Memorial Day Weekend and is dedicated to Scot Tooke, our friend and driver of the Stock Class 401 Green Jeep. We lost Scot this past February and this race will be in his honor.

The Y.P.-BS 250 will be the longest of three races with 30 miles of rutted ranch roads, sagebrush, steep hills, deep coulees and water crossing. Oh yeah, some that have seen the track see some 100 mph opportunities as well. And that’s just the FIRST lap! Check out our web site www.yorracing.com for details on this race.

On July 28th and 29th we will be at the INLAND TRUCK PARTS- HIGH DESERT 100 near Powell, Wyoming. Those of you that have raced here know that the 3.5 miles of dirt and rock track that can beat you silly. A fantastic race track with many years of racing history, the track itself is well established and remains one of our favorite tracks to race on.

We will finish off the series on September 22-23 with the world famous WILD WEST 100 held just outside of Columbus MT and home of the 2012 Mint 400 class 7 WINNER AL HOGAN! The 307 BAR and GRILL- WILD WEST 100 is the 4th annual race on Al’s property which is what got Off Road Racing back on track in Montana. Those that have been there will agree that this 8 mile track was not built for the weak at heart. With STEEP hills, BIG rocks and Pine trees that’ll take your mirrors off, prepare yourself for what we believe will be the most challenging and technical race in the series. And did I mention water crossings???? If you know Al you would expect nothing less from his home track.

Keep in mind this will be a race series for points. There will be starting points, placing point, and finishing points. We will be paying out a Minimum of $1000.00 for the point’s winner in each class. If you miss a race, it could be very difficult to win this prize. However the last race of the series, the Wild West 100, we will award double points for placing. If you start all three races and have bad luck in one race, you can possibly make them up by placing well in the Wild West 100 race.

We hope to see you racing with us this summer. We have three great races planned and we have a great group of racing friends. Come out and do some BAJA racing in the great states of Montana and Wyoming, just a hop skip and a jump from Yellowstone National Park.

Sincerely,

Don Linder
